Public Health teams work in councils across the country supporting prevention and management of ill health and disease. Their work is currently at the heart of the coronavirus outbreak through tracking and reducing the spread of infection.

Anne Hayes is Assistant Director of Public Health at Derbyshire County Council. She is currently working with organisations across the county including the NHS and is leading a number of working groups to ensure that the response is efficient and effective even in uncertain times.
