Council staff with easter eggs

10,000 eggs were generously donated by Nestle and are being delivered by British Gas volunteers and colleagues from across Derbyshire County Council.

This tasty delivery is heading to Derbyshire County Council’s care homes for older people and people with learning disabilities. Other eggs are heading out across Derbyshire food networks.

Karen Cormack from Oakland Community Centre said: “We have happily received the Easter Eggs for Oakland Community Centre from Nestle. We give our thanks for their generosity which all our residents will enjoy.

“Also, a big thank you to the British Gas volunteer who kindly delivered them to our door. In these uncertain times it is nice to see people are out there caring for others.”
