Clune House thank you gift and note

Thousands of people are working in care homes, going into people's houses and children's homes to look after those who need help and care during the coronavirus outbreak. It can be a hard, but rewarding, job at the best of times but at the moment it is particularly challenging.

Knowing that people appreciate the effort going in makes a huge difference, which is why a note and parcel from Errin, aged 9, made the day of staff at East Clune Care Home in Clowne.

In a lovely show of Derbyshire Spirit Errin gave a teddy, biscuits and chocolate with a note saying:

"To the Staff of Clune House. We are very grateful that you are working hard, keeping yourselves and the residents safe during this time. Here are some biscuits for you to share when you have a break."
