The centre usually holds garden sales in June which the centre staff and clients look forward to and prepare. But this year plans had to change a little.

Lucy Billington, Unit Manager at the Whitemoor Centre, said:

“Whitemoor usually has a thriving period of garden sales around this time. The Whitemoor garden nursery usually has our clients planting and creating hanging baskets for the spring sales.

“It can’t continue as normal but our clients, supported by Whitemoor staff, have still be assisting with creating the hanging baskets in their own homes.

“This is both uplifting for the clients and allows the hanging baskets to be made up and sold.”
