PCRefurb are a Glossop organisation that received a grant through the High Peak Connect COVID-19 Support Grant scheme.

They refurbish donated IT equipment in order to help make computers and their use accessible to the local community and they used the support grant to help provide tablets to people who are socially isolated in care homes and hospitals across the High Peak.

One care home manager said: “This will make a huge difference to the lives of our residents. This means they can now keep in regular contact with their families. You have no idea the difference this will make”.
