The SNAG boxes include ingredients to make a family meal plus a helpful contacts sheet and recipe card.

Families are encouraged to cook the meal together and take photographs, which are shared on the SNAG Facebook and Instagram pages.

Since April, SNAG has delivered 98 SNAG boxes and provided 333 meals for the local community - as well as sharing out a further 31 large boxes of food items which have been donated by Lidl and Aldi.

So far, SNAG has delivered ingredients for spaghetti bolognaise, chicken fajitas, cottage pie and homemade pizza and there are more tasty recipes in the pipeline for the following weeks.

Local residents have been absolutely delighted with the scheme, one local parent said:

"Wow – this has really brightened up my day – thank you so much”

SNAG has received funding from Councillor Christine Dale, the Neighbourly Community Fund, the Rotary Club and Bolsover Together to enable the project to take place.
